First and foremost Rian Schaible is the proud mama of a beautiful baby girl, Daphne, who was born July 17, 2015. Baby Daphne has become widely known by her very own hashtag: #Daffers.
As a professional instructor, choreographer, and performer, Rian has a passion for movement and the arts. She graduated from The King’s College NYC in 2015 with a bachelors in Media, Culture, and The Arts. In New York City she trained at the most elite dance studios such as NYU Tisch School of The Performing Arts as a student in the residency program, Broadway Dance Center as part of their work-study team, and Peri Dance. She also work studied and taught for three years at Body&Pole. During her time there she performed and choreographed for Pole Speak (as a company member) and AERA (a as guest performer and choreographer on several occasions.)
She also interned with Kate Weare Dance Company, and prior to moving to NYC, founded Seminole State College of Florida’s first student-lead dance company in 2011. Her choreography was featured in shows by Yow Dance Company 2012.
She was a professional competitor in the first ever Florida Pole Fitness Championship in 2012, and in SuperShag’s Pole Fitness Championship where she earned 3rd place in the Level 3 Division. Guest performances include Broadway’s Rock of Ages Ladie’s Night Out featured on NBC, Vertical Fusion’s Twisted Cinema, So Si by AERA, and more. Her teaching ranges from pole, aerial, dance, and flexibility. She is Xpert and ElevatED certified.
Rian’s vested interest in developing the best learning environment possible is in direct correlation to her ultimate goals of captivating audiences, communicating effectively, and developing meaningful movement.
