Always living an active lifestyle, whether playing basketball or working out in the gym, Xiomara was looking to add dimension to her fitness regimen. In 2013, she took her first pole class at Polercise in Melbourne, Florida. She discovered that not only was this fun, but it transformed her body in ways she couldn’t have imagined.
The love for pole led her to incorporate lyra hoop and silk ribbons into her aerial workouts. She considers aerial fitness her cross training that compliments lifting weights in the gym. In 2014, she was invited to perform a pole routine with a group at intermission for the WBFF in Miami. It was here that she got her first glimpse into competitive fitness.
After months of consideration, she decided to begin preparing to compete with the WBFF. A decision that has forever changed the world around her. In May 2015, she stepped on stage in Orlando, Florida and received her Pro status by winning first place in Diva Fitness Tall.
She was recently featured in Carolina Fitness Magazine and has began working with a Tampa based bikini designer Adreamrocks. When not at work as a Medical Technologist, she can be found teaching pole and flexibility at Polercise or working out at the gym.
